R.C.I.A

Have you been considering becoming Catholic?

Have you been wondering what the Church teaches and why?

Have you felt the Holy Spirit nudging you to learn more?

Were you baptized Catholic, but have been away from the Church for some time and would like to come back?

If so, we invite you to join our R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) group!

All materials are provided and there is no cost to you, other than your time and enthusiasm.  Our gatherings are informal and include prayer, discussion, Scripture, as well as other learning mediums.  Our hope is to answer any questions you may have as honestly and as completely as we can.  There is no obligation, so, if at any time you decide that this is not where God is calling you to be, you are free to leave with our blessings.  If you decide you do want to become Catholic, we will prepare you to be brought into the Church at the Easter Vigil in April.

If you have been baptized in another Christian faith, we will need a copy of your baptismal certificate.

Registration is necessary and you can do that by calling Barbara Beaubien at 313.292.0430.  We look forward to meeting you and accompanying you on this part of your faith journey!
