Satani, Laura “Lora”. March 27, 2013. Age 86 of Dearborn.

Married to the love of her life, Mario for 59 wonderful years. Loving mother of Linda Magnone (Michael) and Elena Ison (the late Gary). Predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Emilia, and brother Antonio Vitti (Mildred). Dearest grandmother “nonna” of Melissa Nori (Micah) and Melanie Serapiglia (Jason). Loving great-grandmother “nonna bis” of Dante, Giuliana, Mia, Mariano and Gianina. Laura will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Visitation Monday April 1, 2013 from 2-9pm at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. UETZ JOSEPH E. was called home to Heaven March 11, 2013, age 86.

Preceeded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Anne (nee Boudreau) Uetz. Survived by his four children: Denise (Tim) Kerr, Dianne (Mark) Heiss, Paul (Donna) Uetz, and Karen (Paul Ainsworth) Uetz.

Beloved Grandpa of Kevin, Stephen, and Michelle Kerr; Jackie, Sean and Evan Heiss and Emma and Jake Uetz. Joe’s family meant so much to him, including his many nieces, nephews, brothers, and in-laws.

Joe served his country in the Air Force in WW II and as a ball-turret gunner in the Korean War. He served his community through Focus Hope, driving for the blind for 35 years, Dearborn Heights Goodfellows and many St. Albert the Great groups.  Joe enjoyed ushering at church and stamp collecting.

A memorial Mass is planned on Saturday, April 20th, at 10:00 a.m., St. Albert the Great Church, 4855 Parker, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125. Donations in Joe’s memory are welcome to Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington, DC 20090-6231 (www.SmileTrain.org) or a charity special to you.
